Marionberry Syrup

Marionberries are the perfect match for our hazelnuts in so many ways. (For one, they were developed just up the road from us, at Oregon State University!) They're actually a cultivar of the better known blackberries, but they are sweeter, juicier and larger. Make them into syrup and you have the most delightful sweet topping you could imagine. We suggest you drizzle it over ice cream, pour it over syrup, and get ready to grin.
